the collaboration

formed by a mother-daughter bond

we collaborated with maria of meraki designed, my incredible mother and talented artist who creates handmade functional pottery and teaches intimate pottery workshops, to bring these unique ritual objects to life. each holder is hand-sculpted in her studio, glazed, fired, decorated and sometimes, fired again. they are then driven across the border from her home to ours. what began as a shared love for the tactile and symbolic became a way to merge our practices - clay and tree, form and feeling. may they serve as a bridge between our hands and yours.
